Volunteer Spotlight

ETM-Bay Area would like to recognize the exemplary volunteer work of Sarah Quan for her efforts to organize the silent auction for our upcoming benefit. Sarah has shown a dedication to making the auction a success for which we would like to express our gratitude.

Sarah's hours on the phone with donors, drafting letters, and organizing donations have assured that benefit attendees will have great items on which to bid. Her efforts will help raise money at the benefit that we will use to continue to improve the music instruction we provide at our partner schools.

"Working with ETM-Bay Area has been an incredibly positive experience," shared Sarah. "I am grateful to know that my efforts, and the efforts of my fellow volunteers, have been valuable and will directly contribute to ETM-Bay Area's mission."

Sarah has also joined our effort to establish a Young Associates program. The Young Associates are a group of young professionals who volunteer their time, energy, and talents on behalf of ETM-Bay Area to host events and activities to promote the organization. The group will not only raise funds to be used to restore music education at our partner schools, but increase ETM-Bay Area's presence in the community, advocate for the importance of music education, and involve a greater number of individuals passionate about our cause with us.

If you would like to learn about joining the Young Associates or finding out more about how you can volunteer with ETM-Bay Area and help us to restore music education to the curriculum of schools in the Bay Area please contact us at at info@etmbayarea.org.
