ETM-Bay Area's Collaborating Organizations
Education Through Music, Inc. was founded in 1991 in New York to promote the integration of music into the curricula of disadvantaged schools in order to enhance students' academic performance and general development. ETM-Bay Area became Education Through Music's second affiliate organization in 2008.
ETM-LA, Inc. (Education Through Music - Los Angeles) is the first affiliate program of Education Through Music and has been partnering with schools in Los Angeles since 2006.
