ETM-Bay Area music teachers often need a pianist to accompany students during concerts and/or rehearsals. If you would be willing to donate your services, please contact info@etmbayarea.org
Office Interns
Office internships are geared toward those looking for substantive work experience in a growing music education 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, where their efforts will play a key role in the organization's short and long-term success. The exact duration and duties will be determined based on the applicant's skills and the organization's current need.
If you would like to volunteer in our office, please send an email to info@etmbayarea.org with your background and interests.
Event Volunteer
ETM-Bay Area presents events quarterly YA events and annual events. These may include community concerts at schools and local venues, school visits by musicians and artists, and various fundraising events. Event volunteers may assist with such duties as stage production, event set-up, managing guest arrivals and seating, event takedown, and other similar responsibilities. If interested, please contact info@etmbayarea.org
Teaching Interns
Perhaps the greatest advantage of being a Teaching Intern with ETM-Bay Area is the opportunity to observe and work with a seasoned music teacher. Interns see first-hand what it's like to work with children in a classroom setting. The ideas and routines used by the music teacher will be invaluable for any intern who anticipates working with students in schools, camps or private settings.
All TA interns are eligible to attend music teaching workshops provided by ETM-Bay Area. These workshops are invaluable to current or future music teachers. Training is provided in classroom management techniques, musical pedagogy and methodology, developmentally appropriate practices, learning theory, assessment, lesson planning, etc. For more information on requirements and how to apply, please contact info@etmbayarea.org
Board of Directors & Advisory Committee
If you are interested in serving as a member of ETM-Bay Area's Board of Directors or Advisory Committee and would like to be considered for future openings, please contact Executive Director Keri Lindell Butkevich at Klindell@etmbayarea.org.
