ETM-Bay Area's programs and services rely on the generous support of foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individuals.

Your donations contribute to making sustainable improvements in education through the arts and ensure that we make strides in reaching our vision of a nation that has music as a part of every child's education.

Your contributions, regardless of the amount, help to support efforts to improve education for thousands of children.  The following are just some examples of how your donation -- whether $15 or $150,000 -- can have an impact.  Why not make a donation now?

SPONSOR A STUDENT, A CLASS OR A SCHOOL

You can sponsor a partner school student for:

One school year: $150

One month: $15

You can sponsor a partner school class (20 to 33 students) for:

One school year: $3,000 to $5,000

One month: $300 to $500

One week: $75 to $125

You can sponsor an entire partner school (200 to 550 students) for:

One school year: $20,000 to $67,000

One month: $2,000 to $6,700

One week: $500 to $1,675

 

HELP US PURCHASE INSTRUMENTS AND SUPPLIES

You can help students and teachers have access to additional or better materials:

Provide updated technology resources to one music classroom (SMART interactive whiteboard, speakers, projector and hardware): $5,000

Xylophone (soprano, alto, bass) for one classroom: $275 - $650

Teaching supplies for one ETM-Bay Area instructor: $200

World/multicultural percussion instruments: $30 to $150

Recorders for one classroom: $100

PROVIDE TRAINING TO ETM-Bay Area MUSIC TEACHERS, CLASSROOM TEACHERS AND STAFF.

You can help improve teacher and staff quality by supporting training:

Expert facilitator for one training session: $500 to $1000

Annual training stipend for one ETM-Bay Area teacher: $800

Admission to one outside music workshop or state conference: $250

Admission to specialized Orff workshops for entire music staff and up to 3 classroom teachers: $300

IMPROVE CONCERT OPPORTUNITIES



You can help enrich programming:

Artist fee for one professional concert assembly: $600 to $1000

Accompanist fee for one concert plus rehearsal: $250

Full evaluation services for all programs for one year: $18,000

Full evaluation services for one school for one year: $3,000

Instrument donations

ETM-Bay Area is always looking for instruments, of all kinds, in all conditions, to use in our programs. Band instruments and guitars provide an opportunity for another child to play in our small group ensembles held in addition to weekly music classes, while drums, stringed instruments, xylophones, chimes, and classroom percussion instruments can be used in all of our classes. Even instruments that are past their prime can help a child to see how an instrument is constructed and provide a valuable science connection in our curriculum.
