Irene Scully, Chairman, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. She is the Owner and Director of Scully Estates, Scully Ranch, and Scully Vineyards. She is also President and Founder of the Irene S. Scully Family Foundation, a Board Advisor to Vision of Hope, and a Board Member of the Napa Valley Opera House.
Mirari Romero, Secretary-Treasurer, is the Business Manager for Scully Estates and also serves as the Associate Director of the Irene S. Scully Family Foundation.

Eric J. Kim is a Managing Director with Maverick Capital where he focuses on the Firm's Private Investments and is a Director of several healthcare and internet portfolio companies. Prior to joining Maverick, Eric helped found two start-ups, both of which had technologies originated from Stanford University where Eric also received his MBA. Eric also worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and while receiving his bachelors at Yale University, performed as a member of the Grammy nominated Yale Cellos and founded a music oriented service group, The Musical Cure at Yale.

Mrs. Butkevich has served as Executive Director for ETM-Bay Area since 2008. In 2007, she became the Program Director for the Dominican Schools Music Project. She holds an MA in Voice from San Jose State University, a BM in Music Education/Voice, and an Acting Specialist Certificate from University of Wisconsin, Madison. A music teacher and choral director for 14 years, she specialized in building programs in elementary general music, children's choirs, and opera and musical theatre, and held teaching credentials in WI and IL. Prior to 2004, she was a conductor with the internationally acclaimed Chicago Children's Choir and directed the top Conservatory Choirs at Merit School of Music. As the first Artist Teacher for Chicago Opera Theater, she prepared children's choirs for outreach and mainstage productions including Noyes Fludde and Brundibar. Mrs. Butkevich also taught for DePaul University's Community Music Division, and taught in the Bay Area for the Community School of Music and Art, Young Audiences of Northern California, Cantabile Choral Guild, and Music in Schools Today. In 2010, she was named a JOC Scholar for Emerging Non-Profit Leaders by Board Source, and currently serves as Treasurer for the Board of the Northern California Chapter of the American Orff Schulwerk Association.
Mrs. Butkevich has performed frequently throughout the country in theatre and opera. She has performed roles with Bailiwick Repertory, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, l'opera piccola, Imagination Theatre, and Healthworks, made frequent solo appearances in Chicago and Milwaukee concert series and played supporting film roles in Chicago Boricua and Before We Were Turtles. Locally, she has sung with Opera San Jose, Opera Academy of California, Pear Avenue Theatre, and as soprano soloist for opera, musical theatre, and oratorio concerts.
Stephanie Behan, Development Coordinator
Stephanie brings more than six years of development and fundraising experience to her position as Development Coordinator. Prior to joining ETM-Bay Area, Stephanie was the Assistant Director of Development at the Jack Baskin School of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz. She also has worked at several Bay Area non-profit organizations, including the March of Dimes, Communities Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA), and People Acting in Community Together (PACT). Until 2003, she worked as a Development Officer at the University of Washington's Department of Economics.
Stephanie attended San Diego State University, where she studied Liberal Arts. She has volunteered at the Junior League of San Jose, Yavneh Day School, APJCC, and Grail Family Services. She is a mezzo soprano and plays five instruments.

Julie has been a music teacher for over seven years, previously teaching 4th-6th grade music at the Bentley School in Oakland, K-8 music at St. Elizabeth Elementary in East Oakland for three years with the Dominican Schools Music Project, and with 144 Music and Arts in New York City. Julie recently completed her Level 2 Certification in Orff at the San Francisco Orff Course. Julie grew up playing in youth orchestras in Indianapolis and received a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from NYU. She volunteers at KALX, the community radio station of Berkeley, sings with the Oakland Soft Rock Choir, and performs with her band, Alright Class.
Rachel Gallagher, teacher at Lincoln Elementary
Rachel joined the ETM-Bay Area staff in August 2011. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Southern Oregon University and a Masters in Music Education and a California Credential in Music from the University of the Pacific. While completing her student teaching in the Stockton Unified School District, Rachel developed a love for working with students from diverse communities. As an operatically trained mezzo-soprano, she has also shared her love of music as an instructor in the Summer Opera Program at Shasta College in Redding, CA, and was a soloist and Assistant Conductor for the United Methodist Church . Rachel also teaches K-4 music and directs the choirs for Saint Elizabeth's Elementary in Oakland, one of the schools in the Dominican Schools Music Project.
Sonya Harway, teacher at Wilson Elementary and Oakes Children's Center
Sonya comes to ETM-Bay Area from Washington D.C., where she earned her Bachelor's degree at George Washington University in Piano Performance with a concentration in Vocal Studies. She continued her studies in musicology and music pedagogy at The Catholic University of America.In the D.C. area, Sonya taught pre-school and school age music for The Family Room and Northeast Stars Montessori schools. She instructed the high school Men's Choir and assistant music directed the musicals at St. Anselm's Abbey School, and worked as a volunteer mentor to middle school students through the City Year and Young Heroes programs, and maintained an active private vocal and piano studio. She participated on the East Coast in orchestras, choirs, and a cappella ensembles in addition to her own band, Fall Catalogue.A licensed Kindermusik instructor, Sonya is excited to work with our students at Wilson Elementary and Oakes Children's Center this year
Jacob Kramer, teacher at Wilson Elementary
Jacob holds a Master's Degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, with a major in guitar performance, and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Music and the Arts from Northwestern University.
Jacob began teaching music in 2005, and teaches guitar and music regularly at the San Francisco Guitar School, Pacific Union College, the Jewish Community Center, the DayOne Center, and San Francisco School. He has worked with children aged 18 months through 14 years, as well as with college students. He is Orff-Schulwerk Level III and Kodaly Level I certified. Notable performances include Heather Klein's Inextinguishable Trio's "Hungry for Yiddish?" and shows in San Francisco and Eureka with Duo Fuoco, a flute/guitar duo. Jacob's guitar playing and singing are featured on four Toddler Tunes CDs, for which he also wrote and arranged music. He was also a gymnastics coach for 5 - 12 year olds at the American Gymnastics Club.
Marcos Saenz, band teacher at Coronado and Wilson Elementary
Marcos earned a BA in Music Composition from UC Santa Barbara. He also holds certifications in Recording Arts, Live Sound Technology, and Digital Multimedia from Mira Costa College. Marcos has worked as a private instructor in guitar, bass, and piano since 1997. He has taught guitar and bass with DayJams and the National Guitar Workshop, as well as guitar and digital audio courses at Holy Names High School. Since 2007, he has worked at the Community School of Music and Arts, where he is the instructor for elementary band, guitar, bass, digital audio, and the jazz ensemble, and directed the School of Rock program.
Marcos began performing as a bassist and guitarist in 1992, and has performed in musical theater, orchestral groups, and with rock and jazz ensembles. Marcos has worked as a live sound engineer at several music venues throughout California, including the Independent in San Francisco, Mercury Lounge in Goleta, and Rhythm Cafe in Oceanside.

Christopher Winslow, teacher at Peres Elementary
Chris holds a music education degree from the Conservatory of Music in Kansas City with an emphasis in choral conducting, and a CA credential in music. He has continued his studies in composition at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Mr. Winslow is a member of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, has written 4 full-length theater pieces, and received an individual Artist grant from the City of San Francisco to produce the original piece, "Gaveston, Favorite of the King." He has served as Musical Director for the Spindrift School of the Performing Arts. He is currently an Artist in Residence at ODC Theater in San Francisco, and was awarded a grant from the Zellerbach Foundation to produce his original musical at ODC in the summer of 2011.
